An Anytime feedback request is a method of seeking feedback from someone at any time, regardless of whether it is scheduled or not. It can be used to gather information about a particular task, project, or skill and can be done using the Snow HR portal.
You can ask for feedback from your colleagues anytime in a few places in Snow HR.
1) By clicking the icon in the header of the application and then selecting the Request Feedback option.
2) By clicking the Request Feedback button in the PERFORM dashboard
3) By clicking the Request Feedback button in the Anytime Feedback dashboard.
4) By clicking the Request Feedback link under the More actions menu on the detail page of the goal you would like feedback on.
Step 1: Select feedback givers and establish visibility settings
To locate colleagues, type their names into the search box.
Make sure to choose individuals you have worked closely with, as they can provide you with meaningful feedback.
If you wish, you may provide feedback on yourself; check the Ask feedback about myself box.
Even if you forgot to include someone, you could still add them to an existing feedback request after it has been sent.
Your company-wide settings will determine who will have access to the feedback and whether it is anonymous or not. Please get in touch with your HR department if you have any questions.
Step 2: Let them know why you need their feedback
Provide a title for your feedback request and include a description to offer context to your colleagues.
Select a title for your feedback request that clearly communicates your feedback request to your colleagues.
Consider using the name of a project or a topic discussed during a recent meeting. For example: "Input on Marketing Strategy" or "Thoughts on Team Collaboration Workshop".
Include a description for your colleagues explaining your feedback request's purpose and intended use. Ideally, it should cover the following aspects:
1. Your objectives for the feedback request (e.g., "I'm seeking input on my team management approach").
2. How the feedback will benefit you moving forward (e.g., "Your insights will help me refine my leadership style for better team dynamics").
3. If applicable, your plan for addressing the feedback (e.g., "I will discuss the collected feedback with my mentor during our next session").
By providing this context, you can help your colleagues understand the importance of their input and encourage them to share their thoughts.
Step 3: Set a Deadline
Give participants a deadline so they know when you expect their response. Check the Stop accepting responses when the deadline passes box to prevent additional feedback from being submitted.
Step 4: Choose your Feedback Questions
Make a list of the questions you'd like to include in your feedback request.
You can choose a predefined feedback template for your questions or start without a template and customize everything according to your preferences.
If your organization has a Competency Library, you can include questions from it.
You can create custom feedback request questions if your company's settings allow it.
Please limit your selection to three or four questions at most, as feedback requests are designed for brief, regular check-ins.
Adding custom questions
Click on 'Add your own question' and type in your question.
Competency Library Questions
Select 'Add question from Competency library' and select the Skills you would like feedback on.
Feedback on your Goals
You may choose one of your Goals and request feedback regarding your performance in accomplishing or progressing toward that target.
Types of answers
Various answer types are available to questions, and you must choose the one that fits each question best.
Alternative Self-Assessment Question: You can rewrite the custom question so that it is more appropriate when you are answering it as part of the self-assessment.
Example:
Question for others: How often does this person complete their tasks on time?
Self-Assessment Alternative: How often do you complete your tasks on time?
Answer Types: Select the answer type you want per question. Keep in mind what sort of information you want to get out of the question to help you decide what kind of answer to choose.

Ask for a comment: Select if you wish to ask for an additional comment along with the answer; this option is only available for rating scales, multiple-choice, Yes/No, Emoji, and Five Start answer types.
Mark as required: Tick this box to make the question mandatory. Feedback givers cannot submit feedback unless this question is answered.
Step 5: Finalize and send the request
Once you have verified the feedback providers and questions, you can proceed to request feedback. Simply navigate to the bottom of the page and select the 'Send' option.
After the request is made, automated notifications will be sent to the feedback providers. The feedback requests will also show up in the dashboard of the feedback provider.
Once the feedback is received, it will be compiled into a feedback report for you to review.
